The first day
The entire workshop was amazing. After a short intro from all participants, I grabbed one of
Pablos mini camera, my skateboard and rushed through Krems to burn down some images
to tape. The result was a short film which was screened before our performance in the church.
Got out, got moving, got to see architecture and nature and captured some unprotected
video loops from our working environment.

Pablo pushed the process of video making to a different direction, showing us his material and some of his inspiring resources. I came up with the idea of drawing the music into the church, to let the illustrations grow into the room of the church. At that moment I really struggled with production problems, not knowing exactly how I want the lines to come in, how to animate them, how to merge them with the background... and Pablos advice was: "If you don't like it, if you don't feel it fits, experiment with an other alternative, find your way. You gonna make it."

The third day
'"Music inspires us to go beyond our own boundaries, lose ourselves and merge with cosmic
creation" : The motto of the third day.In the first film I took two puppets which were cut-outs made by two other workshop participants. The two puppets were two of the five musicians of the audio group getting inspired and connected by their music through cosmic created drawn lines, spreading their energy into the room, pumping out the music of their music instruments. Rhythms and melodies fuse together with lines , colours and forms to form a different realm full of spirit and energy.

3:43 min / 4,8 mb / h.264 codecThe second film was about the female vocalist Lylit getting eaten up by her own ear. Lines, colours, print-outs and stencils are used like instruments to compose melodies of the Heart.Why her? Well, hmm, its quite simple,has an amazing voice and looks pretty bonnie.

Ohhh, ohh, Pablo Fiasco! What a personality. Loco! Funny! Friendly! Open minded! Unpredictable ideas! A moving freak-show! from I was able to learn a lot. He filtered out my strong video material, motivated me, pushed me to new limits, made me rethink my performance technics.
